TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

The following booking conditions apply to all events booked with Yoga in Nature. Please read them carefully.

In these booking conditions the client means all persons named on the booking, including anyone who is added or substituted at a later date.

1. PAYMENTS & CONFIRMATION OF YOUR EVENT RETREAT

To make a booking, you must confirm to us in writing that you are making a booking, and make the appropriate payment. A contact from Yoga in Nature will confirm the booking via e-mail or another appropriate platform once the client’s deposit or agreed payment has cleared. The prices stated for the event include the Itinerary, accommodation, housekeeping and meals as described. Prices do not include travel, insurance of any nature, excursions, transfers or any other item not specifically referred to in the invoice.

Payment methods on offer are at Yoga in Natures discretion and this is typically by bank transfer or PayPal unless agreed prior.

£150 non-refundable deposit is required to confirm booking and the client will then be notified by email of the balance owing which is due approximately one month before the client’s arrival.

For bookings made within one month of the retreat, the full amount of the retreat is payable to confirm the booking.

The client making the booking shall be liable for full payment for all those clients to whom the booking applies and for any other person subsequently added to the booking unless otherwise agreed.

The booking conversation, these terms and conditions and the automatic deposit payment receipt form the basis of the contract between the client and Yoga in Nature. In all cases, the client accepts that it is their responsibility to check the details carefully. All discrepancies must be brought to the attention of Yoga in Nature in writing, within 7 days of the receipt of the invoice.

2. ALTERATION OF THE RETREAT BY THE CLIENT

Amendments or alterations to a booking must be made in writing to Yoga in Nature. The client will be advised of any changes in costs that might occur as a result.

3. ALTERATION OF THE RETREAT BY YOGA IN NATURE

Should any significant alteration to any event for which a booking has been made become necessary, the client shall be informed promptly. The client shall be offered the choice of accepting the alteration, an option to transfer the full value of the event to another programme or a full refund less deposit.

4. CANCELLATION OF THE YOGA RETREAT BY YOGA IN NATURE

Travel insurance is a requirement for joining Yoga in Nature events and we recommend you choose an option with cancellation cover for all circumstances.

If through circumstances beyond our control, Yoga in Nature is forced to cancel a booking a number of options will be presented dependant on the nature of cancellation reason and the retreat for example; another teacher may be required to cover, accept an equivalent programme at another time.

Force majeure means unusual and unforeseen events such as war, threat of war, riot, terrorism, natural disasters, fire, technical problems or accidents with airports, ports or transport, inclement weather or governmental action. Yoga in Nature shall have no responsibility or legal liability to compensate the client for loss of opportunity to take up the event.

5. CANCELLATION OF THE YOGA RETREAT BY THE CLIENT

Cancellations must be received in writing.

If you cancel before 30 days of the event starting, we will offer a full refund minus deposit.

If you cancel within 30 if the event starting or a no-show will automatically considered as non-refundable.

6. PERSONAL INJURIES OR MEDICAL CONDITIONS

We will ask you for previous medical conditions to ensure that we adapt the sessions accordingly and avoid anything that may cause harm eg: we are unable to perform reiki drumming for people with pace makers. This is your responsibility to inform us on the medical questionnaire.

Yoga in Nature cannot be held responsible for any mishap to clients or their property and in particular for the consequences of the effects of strikes, wars, acts of terrorism, riots, robbery, sickness, quarantine, government intervention or other such happenings. Yoga in Nature strongly advise that you take out appropriate insurance at the time of booking.

7. LIABILITY OF THE CLIENT

All clients undertake to behave with propriety and in such a manner as to cause no damage, distress, danger or annoyance to other clients, property and/or any third party. The contract of any client in breach of this clause shall be terminated immediately and Yoga in Nature shall have no further obligations. In circumstances reasonably deemed by Yoga in Nature to be extreme, including significant damage, significant antisocial behaviour or illegal activities; Yoga in Nature reserves the right to cancel the event forthwith and eject the client from the property without compensation.

The client undertakes to report any damage, deliberate or accidental Yoga in Nature/Langcliffe Hall reserve the right to recover from the client the cost of any repairs or replacements following damage caused by the client.

8. INSURANCE

It is a condition of booking that all clients have appropriate insurance at the time of booking. This insurance must cover all activities chosen during the retreat and cover public liability, property damage to the chalet and its contents, cancellation of the retreat and the cost of assistance, including repatriation, in the event of accident or illness.

We do not provide any travel, sports or other insurance to our customers. Ensuring that you have the right cover for any potential accident, mishap or illness that occurs during your holiday – including travel both to and from your destination – is your own responsibility. We also advise that you should obtain adequate cover for your personal items. The client also understands that passport, visa and immigration requirements are managed by them, and we do not offer these services.

We will not be held liable, nor pay any compensation, in the event of any injuries, deaths, losses, damages, costs or any other manner of claims if they arise due to the acts or omissions of the person or persons affected, or the acts or omissions of third parties unaffiliated with the service provisions covered within and defined by these terms if they were unavoidable or unforeseeable , or unforeseeable or unusual circumstances which are beyond the control of us or our suppliers, resulting in consequences that could not have been avoided regardless of all due care.

9. SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE THIRD PARTIES

Bookings for extra services, such as transfers, spa afternoon made on your behalf by Yoga in Nature are subject to the terms and conditions laid down by the provider of the service. Yoga in Nature do not warrant the standard or performance of any extra services. The client takes full responsibility for satisfying themselves as to the quality and the provider’s ability to execute the services in advance and will address any grievance about the extra services by approaching the respective provider(s) directly.

10. WEATHER CONDITIONS

Weather conditions may affect the itinerary. Some of the activities during the retreat may be impacted due to weather conditions. We will organise the activities on the desired days only if the weather conditions are appropriate. If we suspect that weather conditions are not appropriate, we might reschedule the activities. If it is not possible to reschedule, we will cancel the activities.

11. COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE

In the unlikely event that difficulty arises during your retreat you should advise a member of Yoga in Nature who will endeavor to resolve the difficulty. If you fail to do so, you deprive Yoga in Nature of the chance to resolve the problem to your satisfaction.

If you are unable to resolve matters whilst you are away, complaints should be addressed to info@yogainnature.co.uk not later than 7 days from the end of your retreat.

12. WEBSITE INFORMATION & ACCURACY

All reasonable care has been taken to ensure that the descriptions, facts and opinions on our website are correct to the best of our knowledge.

13. USE OF TRANSFER SERVICE

No transfer service is provided by Yoga in Nature.

14. FOOD AND DRINK

Food, Drink and Remedies is provided by www.retreatremedies.co.uk - to the best of our knowledge Katherine is qualified, insured and capable of nourishing us in a mindful and safe way which will benefit your health. By joining the retreat you agree that food, drink and nourishment is provided by retreat remedies and that you must make us aware of your dietary requirements. Any food, drink and remedies is taken at your discretion and not at the liability of Yoga in Nature

15. PRIVACY

We do not share customer details with any 3rd parties without your express consent, and then only in order to facilitate the booking of 3rd party services such as transfers. We do not store credit card details. Your continued custom is important to us, but we recognise that your privacy is even more important to you. We would like to keep you up to date with new events, blogs and news from Yoga in Nature, if you would like to receive such information, please inform us in writing by e-mailing info@yogainnature.co.uk or contact via the website subscription option.

16. JURISDICTION

These terms and conditions and the contract to which they apply are governed in all respect by English law and as such shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
